About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Logistics Operations Assistant to provide crucial support to their team in Paarl . This hybrid role involves assisting with the coordination of shipments, managing logistics documentation, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily warehouse activities. You will work closely with the logistics team, carriers, and internal departments to maintain efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn and contribute within the Logistics & Warehousing sector, balancing both on-site and remote responsibilities.

• Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, tracking progress and resolving issues.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records of logistics operations and inventory.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to confirm shipment details and resolve inquiries.
• Support inventory management tasks, including receiving, put-away, and order picking verification.
• Help in ensuring compliance with all relevant logistics and safety regulations.

• Some experience in an administrative, logistics, or warehouse support role is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities for coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment, with a hybrid work schedule.
