Overview

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner for an agri-retail company. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for forecasting and planning the demand for services, ensuring that the company has the right resources in place to meet customer needs. You will work closely sales and operations teams to gather data, analyse market trends, and develop accurate demand forecasts.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales input.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure alignment on demand planning.
  • Analyse and report on forecast accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to demand fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
  • Utilize advanced planning systems and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Participate in the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process to align demand plans with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Continuously improve demand planning processes and methodologies.

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner or similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
