Construction Foreman - Residential Projects

About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Construction Foreman to lead teams on residential building projects in and around Paarl, Western Cape . You will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of residential construction techniques. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and timely completion of projects, fostering a productive and safe work environment on site.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations on the job site.
• Manage on-site materials and equipment, ensuring adequate supply and proper utilization.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure workers understand their tasks and safety protocols.
• Maintain daily logs of site activities, progress, and any incidents or issues encountered.

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or a similar supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of residential construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
