Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee significant construction projects in and around Paarl . This role requires meticulous planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage all phases of the construction lifecycle, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of construction methodologies, and a proven ability to manage complex projects successfully in the picturesque Paarl region.

• Plan, execute, and close construction projects according to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Coordinate and manage all project activities, including site supervision, resource allocation, and contractor management.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards on project sites.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial status.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager .
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
