Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations on various construction sites in and around Paarl . This role is critical for ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. You will be responsible for directing site teams, coordinating trades, maintaining quality standards, and upholding safety regulations. The ideal candidate is a practical leader with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction outcomes in the beautiful Cape Winelands area.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery, equipment usage, and site security.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, tradespeople, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and report any site issues or discrepancies to the project manager promptly.

• Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites.
