About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager with a specialization in residential projects for their operations in Paarl, Western Cape . This role is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of residential building projects from groundbreaking to completion, ensuring adherence to stringent quality, safety, and budget standards. You will manage site operations, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is adept at managing multiple project streams, possesses strong leadership qualities, and has a keen eye for detail in ensuring the delivery of high-quality residential properties.
- Manage all phases of residential construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Oversee site activities, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met by all workers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and suppliers to procure materials and manage timelines effectively.
- Control project costs, track expenditures, and ensure projects remain within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections and project progress meetings with clients and the project team.
- Ensure all necessary permits and regulatory approvals are obtained and maintained.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in managing residential construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
