About the Role

Our client requires a skilled and certified Construction Equipment Operator to join their team in Paarl . You will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, and cranes, safely and efficiently to support construction projects. This role is critical for site preparation, material handling, and overall project advancement. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of heavy equipment operation, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work productively as part of a construction crew in the Western Cape .

• Operate heavy construction machinery, including excavators, loaders, dozers, and cranes, for various tasks.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Follow site plans and instructions to complete excavation, grading, material transport, and other tasks.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the site supervisor immediately.
• Work collaboratively with other crew members to achieve project objectives efficiently.

• Proven experience as an operator of heavy construction equipment.
• Valid operator licenses and certifications for relevant machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, grading stakes, and grade laser signals.
• Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols in Paarl .
• Good physical coordination and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
