Aftercare and Community Development Manager – Paarl.
We’re seeking a compassionate, hands-on leader to manage our client’s Aftercare Centre and coordinate community and wellness initiatives.
The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, building relationships, and driving positive change.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee aftercare operations, staff, and learners
- Support learners with academics, activities, and personal growth
- Manage budgets and maintain strong parent–school communication
- Coordinate outreach, donations, and community events
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification and 10+ years’ teaching experience
- Experience in community upliftment
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Available Monday–Friday, 08h00–17h00, with flexibility for extra hours
- Strong communication, crisis management, and leadership skills
- Code 8 driver’s licence with PDP and own transport
- Preference given to affirmative action candidates
