Early Childhood Teacher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to lead a classroom in their esteemed educational facility located in Paarl. This role is central to delivering a high-quality educational program that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of young children. You will be responsible for creating an inspiring, safe, and engaging learning environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore their potential.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the curriculum framework.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and well-organized learning environment that promotes exploration and discovery.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and maintaining accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, learning experiences, and any concerns.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills, independence, and self-confidence.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive approach to early childhood education.

• Recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., Diploma, Degree).
• Proven experience as an Early Childhood Teacher or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of child development, learning theories, and effective teaching strategies for young children.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm in lesson planning and delivery.
• Current First Aid certification and a police clearance certificate are mandatory.
