About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Practitioner to join their vibrant educational setting in Paarl . This role is centered on delivering high-quality education and care to young children, aligning with the EYFS framework. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and play-based learning environment that supports the holistic development of children from early years through to the early stages of primary education.

The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, demonstrates a strong understanding of child development, and excels at fostering a love for learning in young children, working collaboratively with a supportive team.

• Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating activities based on the EYFS curriculum framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and child-centered learning environment.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through varied play and learning experiences.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly about their child's development.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, health, and safety within the early years setting.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
• Experience working within an EYFS framework or similar early years curriculum.
• Solid understanding of child development principles and effective pedagogy for young children.
• Strong communication, observational, and assessment skills.
