About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal functioning and longevity of electrical systems and equipment at their facilities in Paarl . This role is essential for minimizing downtime, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest safety standards. You will be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules, responding to emergencies, and performing intricate repairs.

- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all electrical equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential equipment failures.

- Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to electrical maintenance.

- National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
