Chemical Process Engineer

Our client is seeking a proficient Chemical Process Engineer to join their established operations in Paarl . This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of chemical processes within their manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for process monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity, safety, and product quality. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to on-site work to effectively manage and optimize plant operations.

• Monitor and analyze plant operational data to identify areas for process improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implemented procedures for process control, optimization, and safety.
• Conduct performance tests on equipment and processes, reporting findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability and process integrity.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the Paarl facility.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• 3-5 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals, including mass transfer, heat transfer, and reaction kinetics.
• Experience with process control systems and data analysis software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands‑on approach to engineering challenges.
