Junior Chemical Engineer

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Chemical Engineer to support their operations in Paarl, Western Cape . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in a variety of chemical engineering tasks. You will assist senior engineers in process design, data analysis, troubleshooting, and project execution. Working within a supportive team environment, you will contribute to the company's success by applying fundamental engineering principles and learning best practices in chemical manufacturing, helping to drive efficiency and innovation.

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of chemical processes and equipment.
• Collect and analyze process data, preparing reports on performance and findings.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for operational issues and plant disturbances.
• Participate in process safety reviews and risk assessments.
• Help in the preparation of technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• Contribute to project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to standard.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• 0-3 years of relevant internship or work experience in chemical engineering.
• Solid understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
