Events & Functions Manager

Our client, a renowned venue in Paarl , is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Events & Functions Manager . This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, execution, and client management for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. You will work closely with clients to bring their visions to life, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and external vendors, and contributing to the venue's reputation as a premier destination for successful events within the hospitality and tourism industry.

• Manage the entire event lifecycle from initial client consultation to post-event follow-up.
• Develop detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with catering, AV, decor, and entertainment vendors to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee on-site event management, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of event trends and industry best practices.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event management , preferably in a hotel or venue setting.
• Strong organizational, planning, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and vendors.
• Proficiency in event planning software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple events simultaneously and work under pressure.
