Senior IT Consultant

Senior IT Consultant position available in Paarl.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support across hotel systems, infrastructure, and end users.
• Maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure.
• Support Opera PMS, Symphony POS, and other hospitality systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Install and configure IT equipment, user accounts, and security systems.
• Perform backups, system updates, and maintain IT documentation.
• Ensure reliable IT operations and provide user support across the business.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ IT support experience within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, Opera PMS, and Symphony POS.
• Experience with virtualization, backup solutions, and IT security will be advantageous.
• Relevant IT qualification or certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Highly organised, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call support when required.
