Have you completed your Logistics / Supply Chain degree and reside near Paarl? Our client in Paarl is seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Coordinator who excels at managing logistical and on-site operations and ensuring seamless project execution.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication with various teams.

A valid drivers license and own reliable transport is essential.

Requirements:

• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar field essential
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics, fleet coordination or events
• Valid Code B drivers’ licence (code C or EC an advantage) essential
• Availability to be on site for the full event (a few days or longer) with expenses covered by the company
• Strong computer literacy
• Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight event deadlines
• Reliable, accountable, and customer-focused team player
• Excellent problem-solving and decision‑making skills
• Practical, hands‑on management style

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Route planning and logistics
• Planning sanitation layouts and unit quantities based on event size and regulations
• Liaising with event organizers to accommodate changes and resolve issues quickly
• Coordination and management of drivers, vehicles, cleaning teams and equipment and all operational teams
• Stock: Manage stock availability as well as chemicals, consumables, spare parts etc.)
• Monitoring service quality during events and handling emergency callouts
• Tracking logistics costs, fuel usage and operational efficiency
• Understanding and implementing of health, safety and hygiene regulations
