About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to maintain pristine conditions within their facilities in Paarl. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks, utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to strict health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties in all assigned areas, including general office spaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies and environmental guidelines.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs to the facilities manager promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and clean working atmosphere through diligent and professional service.
- Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role, preferably within a commercial or facilities management setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment, including their safe and effective use.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness.
