Production Manager

An established manufacturing company based in Paarl is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimise plant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, managing production teams, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to ensure output, quality, and cost targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily manufacturing and production operations
Develop and execute production plans to meet demand
Optimise processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity
Lead, coach, and manage production teams
Monitor KPIs (OEE, downtime, quality, cost control)
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, and quality departments

Minimum Requirements
5+ years’ experience in manufacturing / production management
Industrial Engineering degree or related qualification
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven track record in process optimisation and continuous improvement
Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in ERP systems and production reporting
