About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Automotive Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing facility in Paarl. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured automotive components meet the highest quality standards and specifications before they leave the production line. You will perform various inspections, document findings, and work collaboratively with the production team to address any quality deviations.
This position is vital for maintaining the reputation of excellence for our client's products in the automotive industry.
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of automotive parts and assemblies according to established quality control procedures.
- Utilize measurement tools and equipment to verify component dimensions and tolerances.
- Identify and document non-conforming products, ensuring they are properly segregated and reported.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and engineering teams to implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and generate quality reports as required.
- Perform final quality checks on finished vehicles or components prior to shipment.
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with quality control principles, inspection techniques, and standard measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection tasks.
- Good communication skills for reporting findings and working with production staff.
