Sales Manager New Business

Role Purpose:

The Sales Manager New Business will be responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding companies customer base through innovative ICT and business automation solutions. This individual will lead a dynamic sales team, identify new market opportunities, and deliver on revenue and profitability targets by building strong, solution-driven relationships with clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development within the ICT and office automation sectors.
  • Provide strategic sales leadership and coaching to develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Lead client engagement initiatives, including prospecting, presentations, and solution proposals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent follow-ups.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and strategic partners.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (technical, operations, finance) to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics, and strategic insights for management.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification:

    Grade 12 / Matric.
  • A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in a Sales Manager role within the Office Automation or ICT industry.
  • Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, and solution selling.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • High level of business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable transport.
