Sales Representative - FMCG

About the Role

Our client, a prominent name in the FMCG market, is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Representative to join their team, serving the Paarl and surrounding Western Cape regions. This role is fundamental to driving product sales, building relationships with new and existing clients, and ensuring excellent brand representation in the field. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market penetration, and providing exceptional service to a diverse customer base.

• Actively seek out and develop new business opportunities within the assigned sales territory.
• Present and sell the company's FMCG product portfolio to potential and existing clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, owners, and buyers.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Provide excellent customer service, address client needs, and resolve any issues promptly.

• Matriculation Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are essential.
