Flight Operations Coordinator

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Flight Operations Coordinator to manage and oversee flight schedules and logistics for their aviation operations based in Paarl . You will be the central point of contact for pilots, ground crews, and regulatory bodies, coordinating all aspects of flight planning and execution.

• Develop, manage, and optimize flight schedules in coordination with operational requirements and crew availability.
• Coordinate with pilots, dispatchers, and maintenance teams to ensure all flights are prepared and executed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor flight progress, weather conditions, and airspace restrictions, making necessary adjustments to flight plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Manage flight documentation, including flight plans, manifests, and operational logs.
• Act as a liaison with air traffic control, airport authorities, and other external agencies as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Aviation Management or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in flight operations, airline dispatch, or a related aviation role.
• Strong knowledge of flight planning software, weather services, and air traffic control procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
