Inter- Courier Driver

Our client seeks an experienced Inter-City Courier Driver to operate routes between cities, focusing on the Paarl, Western Cape region and its connections. This role requires a dedicated driver capable of long-distance driving while ensuring the timely and secure delivery of valuable goods. You will be responsible for managing your schedule efficiently, maintaining the vehicle, and adhering to all safety and transport regulations.

The ideal candidate is self-reliant, possesses excellent navigational skills, and understands the importance of reliability in the courier industry. Your contribution is vital to our regional transport network.

• Drive company vehicles on scheduled inter-city routes.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of packages and documents.
• Manage driving hours and rest breaks according to regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain a high level of care for all transported items.
• Report any incidents or vehicle issues promptly to management.

• Valid South African driver's license (Code 10 or higher).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-distance or inter-city driving.
• Familiarity with routes across the Western Cape, including Paarl .
• Proven ability to manage time effectively for long journeys.
• Strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
• Good physical condition to handle cargo.
