Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead their team in Paarl . This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity among the warehouse staff. You will play a key role in managing inventory, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and enforcing operational standards. This position offers a chance to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our client's distribution center.

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to the team.
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in stock takes.
• Implement and improve warehouse procedures and operational workflows.

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
