Overview and Benefits

• Competitive salary: $150,000–$200,000 (based on experience) plus production bonus with no negative accrual
• Flexible 4 day workweek; no on-call shifts

Juvo Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned small animal hospital in Pacifica, CA, serving the San Francisco Bay Area and seeking a full-time or part‑time associate veterinarian to join our team! Between our seasoned RVTs, senior veterinary assistants, and experienced CSRs, our team boasts over 50 years of combined experience in general practice, emergency, and dentistry.

Our well equipped standalone hospital features up‑to‑date modern equipment and ample parking. We are located in the beautiful city of Pacifica, CA within walking distance of the Pacific Ocean and just a 15 minute drive from San Francisco. From the doctors’ office and treatment room, there are gorgeous ocean views where we can watch whales and dolphins as the weather warms up.

We are surrounded by wonderful natural hiking trails that offer breathtaking views of the mountain valleys, nearby cities, and ocean.

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary program
• Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in California
• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures as appropriate
• Create and communicate clear treatment plans with pet owners
• Provide client education on preventive care and wellness
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide high quality patient care
