Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities   Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on Direct Expansion cooling units for Data Center, focusing on high-performance, cost-effective design and market-leading innovation.
Design new products or re-engineer existing ones, focusing on mechanical aspects (sheet metal structures, pipelines); collaborate with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering; incorporate necessary product marketing inputs.
Support product production transfer from and to other locations; interface with the center of expertise; understand and manage the bill of materials.
Create and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, customer submittals).
Meet objectives of cost, quality, environmental impact, and timing; balance market and internal customer needs.
Analyze and resolve technical problems for products under responsibility.
Communicate effectively across regions to enhance global designs.
Qualifications   Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Up to 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer, preferably in the HVAC industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD & PLM systems, particularly PTC Creo, Solid Edge; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
Know-how of HVAC products; good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles (desirable but not essential).
English – good level (written and spoken).
Competences: result-oriented, team player, detail-oriented, flexible, collaborative, with initiative.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and to take on new challenges.
