Position

Alpinestars is looking for a  Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and Data Engineer  to design, implement, and govern scalable cloud solutions and modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

You will manage cloud integration architectures, ensure high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and cost optimization.
You will select and implement Azure services.
You will support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
You will be in charge of designing and operating modern Azure data platforms (ADF/Synapse, Azure SQL).
You will build reliable batch and streaming data pipelines.
You will ensure data quality, security, and governance.

Required

Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture and services.
Proven experience as a Cloud Data Engineer.
Solid knowledge of data warehousing/Lakehouse, SQL, and data modeling.

Experience with batch and real-time data processing and integration patterns.
Scripting skills (Power Shell, Python, or SQL).

Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Azure Data Engineer certifications.

Experience with hybrid environments and BI tools (Power BI, Analysis Services).
