Are you in? Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role

You will support the embedded software development in structured R&D projects and in software ecosystems for prototyping. You will contribute to innovation projects, enable software ecosystems for prototyping, collaborate with partner teams, and establish an internal/external network.

Develop, test and verify embedded software in the field of embedded system projects

Enable Infineon MCU portfolios for Arduino, ROS and Zephyr software ecosystems

Develop and test embedded SW libraries mainly for actuators and sensors for Infineon MCU hardware platforms

Capture, analyze and understand requirements and break down into structured work packages

Represent Infineon on events like trade fairs and university fairs

Supervise working students and interns to develop your leadership skills

Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

You work conscientiously on making things better, faster, and more efficient and you are able to quickly establish a successful collaboration. You are a team player, self-learner with good communication and interpersonal skills.

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or a comparable discipline

At least 2 years of professional experience in embedded software development preferred in semiconductor industry or in the field of robotics, with hands-on experience in C, C++ and Python

Experience with embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (such as Zephyr and FreeRTOS), as well as with embedded system development workflows and toolsA very good knowledge of MCU architecture/operation (interrupts, IPC etc.) and communication peripherals (Ethernet, CAN, UART, SPI etc.)Good knowledge of ROS 2 and simulation tools (Isaac Sim, Mu Jo Co ) would be a plus Fluency in English is mandatory, proficiency in German and Italian is a plus Please send us your CV in English.
