Job Details- Workplace:
Hospital, on call - Reason for Need:
Short staff
- Labs and Ultrasound available on-site
- Hospital equipment for labor and delivery
- Few C-sections (surgery to deliver a baby)

Midwives- They take call and deliver their own patients
- Normal delivery (vaginal), and using low forceps if needed
- Deciding when to do a C-section
- Complicated deliveries, like C-sections, breech births, multiple births, abruptions, etc.
- VBAC ( vaginal birth after a C-section)
- Repairing severe tears (3rd and 4th degree lacerations)
- Must be Board Certified
- Must have an active Kentucky License
- Must be BLS Certified
- Must have an active DEA
- BLS
- Board Certification
- State License:
