• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients
• Conduct patient evaluations and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay current with advancements in cardiology practices and technologies
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

• Medical degree (MD) with a specialization in Cardiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Previous experience as a cardiologist preferred
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules

Schedule:

24‑hour call shifts, 3‑7 days per month

Setting:
Inpatient/EMTALA call

Patient Population:
Adults

Duties:
Procedures, general cardiology consults as needed, and reading studies (including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests)

Required Procedures:
Balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms

Support Staff: 2 interventional cardiologists

Board certification required
