BIM Designer - Electrical Project Lead

At HDR, we design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. In this role, you will lead electrical BIM design for projects across various locations.

• Work within a discipline under the direct supervision of an engineer or other technical professional.
• Accurately model BIM elements using the current 3D software in the correct specialized constraints of the modeling environment.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams of the design using the current 3D software.
• Maintain the discipline model, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match‑lines, views, and sheets.
• Produce discipline‑specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.

• Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years related industry experience.
• Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Advanced skillset in 3D coordination tools.
• Competency with Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
• Knowledge of industry standards, practices, discipline codes, and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits.
• Leadership and mentoring skillsets required.
