**** MRI Technologist - PRN
**** Call Rotation Required
** Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)/computed tomography (CT) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation.
*
* Job Duties:

*** Operate CT and MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician orders.
* Perform basic image processing techniques such as windowing, reconstruction, and multiplanar reformatting to enhance visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities.
* Assist radiologists and physicians in image interpretation.
* Position patients appropriately on the table and provide instructions for maintaining stillness during the examination to minimize motion artifacts.
** Requirements:
*** High School Diploma/GED
* ARRT registry in Radiography (R) required
* Must obtain ARRT registry in CT and/or MRI within one year of hire date
* Military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required can substitute for ARRT registration requirement
* Current license with Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required
** Preferred Requirements:
*** Experience working as a CT and/or MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred
