Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab – Lourdes Hospital at Mercy Health

• Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and determine priority of problems and needs
• Implement clinical nursing interventions for acute, critical patients requiring intensive medical care
• Develop and perform patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments, create care plans, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness
• Prioritize information to take immediate, evidence-based, patient-focused action using clinical judgment
• Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Participate in on-call for emergencies on weekends, nights, and holidays; respond to STEMI call backs within 30 minutes
• Administer medications safely per state practice and organizational policies
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, not required

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS or ACLS; ACLS required within 6 months of hire (ACLS preferred at hire)

• One year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR (required)
