With a close-knit, family-oriented atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a team committed to creating an exceptional resident experience, this is an opportunity to lead clinical services in a community where relationships truly matter.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing or Resident Care Director (RN or LPN) to join our leadership team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse who loves senior living, enjoys developing and supporting care teams, and wants to remain connected to residents and families while taking the next step in clinical leadership.

Whether you are an experienced nursing leader or a strong senior living or long-term care nurse ready to grow into a larger leadership role, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As the Director of Nursing / Resident Care Director, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for resident care while partnering closely with the Executive Director and community leadership team to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, individualized support.

You will:

  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and families while serving as a trusted clinical resource.
  • Help ensure each resident's care plan reflects their individual needs, preferences, abilities, and changing health conditions.
  • Coordinate resident assessments, care planning, physician orders, medication management, and ongoing clinical documentation.
  • Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate follow-up and communication with families, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare partners.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to associates caring for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

  • Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism, empathy, and timely follow-through.
  • Participate in the community's on-call rotation and provide clinical guidance when needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other department leaders to create a seamless resident experience.
  • Remain visible, approachable, and engaged with residents, families, and associates throughout the community.
  • Other duties as assigned. See full job description.

The right leader will be organized and clinically confident while still being approachable and hands-on. You should be comfortable making decisions, coaching associates, navigating difficult conversations, and stepping in when your team needs leadership and support.

Experience in senior living or long-term care is important, and an understanding of the unique needs of residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia is especially valuable.
