Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

This role at Sam’s Club focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility. The Maintenance Associate helps ensure a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms and floors, and a positive first and last impression for members. The position requires being on your feet and active throughout the shift, with a positive attitude to support a great member experience.

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Maintains safety and cleanliness of the facility by following safety standards and guidelines, conducting safety checks, handling and disposing of hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions to Management.

Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment according to company procedures.

Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as needed, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in line with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores chemicals properly, and places orders to replenish supplies when low.

Supports a positive member experience by helping ensure customers have a great first and last impression.

Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. The hourly wage range is intended to meet or exceed applicable minimum wage at the job location.
