Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder – Paducah, KY

We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best customer experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll be a critical part of our success by supporting store leadership to provide exceptional fan engagement and achieving daily sales targets.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return by leveraging product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Step in and lead the store when the Store Manager is pulled away, ensuring the store runs smoothly.
• Understand the store sales plan and compensation goals, and drive sales by increasing key KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Cover the sales floor zones and maintain visual standards, while also helping with opening and closing duties.
• Work the register, process sales transactions, and use fandom knowledge to drive add‑on sales; close out the register and communicate any shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Support the maintenance of the stock room and keep the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates to help them quickly acclimate to the team.
• Perform any other activities assigned by the Store Leader.

• Previous retail experience; passion for music and pop culture is a plus.
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach merchandise during scheduled hours; move boxes up to 50 pounds; use ladder or step stool as needed.
