The Allied Universal® security team is seeking a Security Officer to patrol and protect government facilities in Paducah, KY. Responsibilities include patrol, incident response, reporting, and collaboration with law enforcement.

• Pay Rate: $19.58 / Hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit in accordance with protocols for government locations.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter inappropriate behavior and reassure staff and visitors.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders for additional support.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies during patrols.

• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories considered with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
