Position Purpose

The Director of Recruitment & Enrollment plays a critical leadership role in shaping the future of

Rosary College Prep. This position is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of student

recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts. The Director works to attract and retain a diverse,

mission-aligned student body that will thrive in Rosary’s all-girls, college preparatory environment.

Reporting directly to the Head of School, the Director collaborates with faculty, staff, and the Board

to ensure that the recruitment process reflects the school’s mission and values and that students

receive the support needed to succeed academically, socially, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities

● Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the school during the recruitment

and admissions process.

● Clearly articulate the mission, values, traditions, and benefits of a Rosary education—including

the advantages of all-girls, faith-based learning.

● Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and strategic enrollment plan to position

Rosary as a premier high school for young women.

● Coordinate and actively participate in all recruitment events—on-campus (e.g., open houses,

school tours, academic camps) and off-campus (e.g., feeder school visits, parish fairs, in-home

presentations).

● Oversee and manage the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a

welcoming, efficient, and mission-centered experience for prospective families utilizing

Blackbaud’s Recruitment & Enrollment Management software.

● Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and maintain admission screening procedures

that assess both mission fit and academic readiness.

● Coordinate the administration of the High School Placement Test, including makeup and

electronic testing opportunities.

● Interview prospective students and evaluate applications in collaboration with administrative

staff; review academic records, test scores, and financial aid documents.

● Provide families with ongoing support throughout the admissions process, including guidance

on testing, curriculum, and the transition to high school.

● Generate regular reports and insights to inform leadership and guide decision-making

regarding admissions and enrollment trends.

● Conduct surveys and feedback assessments with applicant families to improve outreach,

service, and processes.

● Collaborate with the Institutional Advancement team on branding, marketing tools, social

media, and print/digital advertising campaigns.

● Oversee enrollment budget and work closely with the Business Office to manage recruitment

expenditures.

● Develop and execute a strategic retention plan in partnership with faculty and staff;

coordinate re-enrollment processes and outreach.

● Supervise and train student ambassadors and shadow hosts; oversee the Big Sister/Little

Sister program to support new student integration.

● Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster community

support and school pride.

● Sits on the Financial Aid Committee to provide background information on incoming students

Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s degree in education, marketing, communications, business, or a related field

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or related areas—preferably in a

● Deep understanding of and commitment to Catholic education; ability to embody and

articulate the mission of Rosary College Prep.

● Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident and professional public

speaker.

● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse audiences.

● Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects with attention to

detail.

● Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and
