Accounts Senior – Paignton Paignton | Full-Time | Permanent | Flexitime | £32,000–£40,000  Benefits 're recruiting an experienced Accounts Senior / Client Manager to join a growing accountancy practice in Paignton . This is a varied, client-facing role suited to someone who knows their accounts, understands tax and VAT, and is confident managing their own portfolio of clients and deadlines.

You'll work closely with the wider accounts team, looking after a varied portfolio and getting involved in everything from year-end accounts and tax returns to management accounts, forecasting and advisory work .

Key Responsibilities Manage your own portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients Prepare and review year-end accounts Prepare personal and corporate tax returns Deal with VAT and general accounting queries Prepare management accounts and financial forecasts Provide clients with practical accounting and business advice Build strong, long-term client relationships Manage your own deadlines and workflow Work closely with colleagues on advisory and other client assignments Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice About You ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified , or qualified by experience Previous experience within an accountancy practice Strong accounts preparation and review experience Good knowledge of tax and VAT Comfortable managing your own client portfolio Strong communication and relationship-building skills Able to explain financial information clearly to business owners Organised, reliable and able to manage deadlines independently Commercially minded with a proactive approach Someone who enjoys working closely with clients and being part of a growing team What's on Offer £32,000–£40,000 , depending on experience Full-time, permanent position Flexitime 22 days holiday  bank holidays Private medical insurance Company pension Varied and interesting client portfolio Exposure to accounts, tax, management accounts and advisory work Opportunity for the role to grow alongside the practice Supportive and collaborative working environment Location Paignton, Devon Commutable from Torquay, Brixham, Newton Abbot, Totnes and surrounding areas .
