We are currently seeking a dedicated Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful primary school in Plymouth. This role will provide you with the opportunity to support students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), as well as those requiring additional support.

Position:
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant

Full-Time:
Monday to Friday, term-time

Ideal for:
Aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, or other related fields

Key Responsibilities:

Support primary-aged students with EHCPs, working with them individually or in small groups (up to 5 students). Implement behaviour management strategies to help students with socialisation, building routines, and emotional regulation.

• Experience working within SEN settings (ASD experience desirable)
• Flexible and reliable work availability
• A compassionate, positive, and proactive personality – someone who takes initiative and supports the team without prompting
• Ability to adapt to changing behaviour and remain calm under pressure
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow teacher guidance
• A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
