Shift: 8am–2pm or 9am–3pm

We are recruiting a dedicated Housekeeper to join a welcoming 30-bed residential care home in the beautiful Churston area of Brixham.

The home is situated in beautiful surroundings on a golf course
, providing a peaceful and attractive environment for residents and staff.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the home is kept clean, comfortable and welcoming for residents, visitors and staff.

Working between 18 and 24 hours per week
, with shifts available from 8am–2pm or 9am–3pm
, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents' bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms and other shared spaces.

You will become an important part of a dedicated team, helping to create a clean, comfortable and homely environment for residents.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
• Clean residents' bedrooms and communal areas
• Clean bathrooms, corridors, lounges and other areas of the home
• Ensure cleaning standards are maintained at all times
• Follow appropriate cleaning and hygiene procedures
• Replenish cleaning and household supplies when required
• Dispose of waste appropriately
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or concerns to the appropriate team member
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider care team
• Treat residents, visitors and colleagues with courtesy and respect

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
• A reliable, hardworking and committed approach to work
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work independently when required
• A friendly, caring and respectful nature
