Entry Level Accountant

Vaco is hiring for an Entry Level Accountant opportunity in Painesville OH.
Direct Hire, Onsite
Salary: 45-50,000/yr

• Establish and monitor customer credit terms.
• Manage customer collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Apply customer payments accurately to accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts, including credits and charges.

• Assist with vendor setup, maintenance, and purchasing support.
• Code invoices, set up new vendor accounts, and communicate with vendors as needed.
• Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Verify and process invoice payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.

• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Support periodic internal audits and account reconciliations.

• Strong data entry skills, including typing and 10-key proficiency.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
