• Operate powered industrial equipment, including fork truck, electric 3 wheel sit down, clamp truck and zamboni.
• Bring raw material to coating assets and take finished product from the coating lines and place the material in specified areas of the plant.
• Assist with general housekeeping of the plant.
• Move material to/from raw, WIP, finished, Shipping, Receiving and manufacturing areas.
• Unload/load trucks/tankers with incoming/outgoing materials.
• Verify materials against Shipping and Receiving documents.
• Complete appropriate transactions to document movement of material within the Inventory Management System.
• Support inventory accuracy: complete warehouse and departmental cycle counts and correct discrepancies; help manage winding drum and rack inventories.
• Raw/Finishing warehouse: pick up and transfer material racks, pallets and other consumable supplies to/from production areas; condense warehouse space and maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform all assignments safely, following standard procedures; correct and report unsafe conditions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality and productivity.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed.
• Communicate and coordinate necessary information to appropriate department/shift employees to ensure effective operations.
• Lead the recycling of pallets, cardboard and scrap materials.
• Support 5S housekeeping activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience
• Proficiency with computer applications
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests

• Essential: Previous Manufacturing Experience Preferred.
