CNC Grinding Set-up Operator

Put your grinding experience to work—if you’ve operated Walter, Agathon, Waida, Vollmer, EWAG grinders,or any multi-axis grinder this opportunity could be a great fit.

Shift Options:

• First Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Second Shift: 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.

Pay:Starting at $25+ Competitive pay based on experience,qualifications, and CNC expertise. plus $2shift differential for 2nd shift.

We are currently seeking a CNC Grinding Set-up Operator
, who has the same desire to prove that

industry can do it!

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:

• Set up and operate CNC grinding equipment.
• Load and secure work pieces and select appropriate tooling
• Monitor the grinding process and make machine or program adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify part accuracy
• Make G-code edits as required
• Maintain tooling inventory, wheel usage records, and production documentation.
• Preform routine machine maintenance and replace worn tooling

At Fives Landis Corp, and under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you will join the Cutting Tools team.

Since we are located off I-90 and Auburn Road, it will be an easy commute.

• Programming experience with G-code a plus.
