CNC Machinist

We are partnering with an established precision manufacturing organization seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join its production team. Our client specializes in producing high-quality machined components for industrial applications, with an emphasis on precision, efficiency, and consistent product quality.

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to production specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Perform tool changes, adjust offsets, and verify machine settings to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues involving tooling, dimensions, surface finishes, and equipment performance.
• Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production records and document quality inspection results.
• Work closely with production supervisors, quality personnel, and other machinists to meet manufacturing goals.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Previous CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or similar machining equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, machining specifications, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with cutting tools, tool offsets, and basic machining processes.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues and maintain consistent part quality.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with other production personnel.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical machining education is a plus.

• CNC machine setup and tooling adjustments.
• Familiarity with G-code, M-code, or CNC program edits.
• Experience with tight-tolerance machining and dimensional inspection.
• Background in precision machining, metal fabrication, or industrial component manufacturing.
