Business Development Manager – 6 openings total (2 per city). Columbus, Cleveland, Detroit. Pay $65k–$85k + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend, PTO, medical benefits. Onsite. Permanent. Ideal Background

  • 3+ years B2B sales experience
  • Experience with uniforms, medical sales, or similar industries is a plus
  • Strong relationship-builder with entrepreneurial drive and ability to exceed goals
  • Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Own your market: identify & pursue new commercial clients through proactive prospecting, networking, cold outreach, & strategic follow‑ups.
  • Build fast rapport & trust with property managers, facility directors, developers, and procurement professionals.
  • Sell value, not price: use a consultative, solution‑based approach to uncover client pain points & craft service proposals that solve real operational problems.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline: log activities, leads, opportunities in CRM with real‑time accuracy; forecast monthly & quarterly results with precision.
  • Lead local market penetration efforts: attend industry events, join trade associations, represent the brand as a trusted advisor in the commercial landscape.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally: partner with operations & estimating teams to ensure proposals align with service capabilities & client expectations.
  • Meet/exceed individual sales quotas, new account targets, and margin objectives.
Performance Expectations
  • Consistent prospecting activity & measurable lead generation.
  • Growth of qualified pipelines aligned with target markets & verticals.
  • Year‑over‑year increase in new contract revenue & gross profit.
  • Strong client onboarding experience with smooth handoff to account management.
