What You Can Expect In This RoleThe Electrical Technician plays a critical role in the installation and integration of all electrical and IT‑related systems during the build of high‑performance motor sport transporters. Working closely with the Electrical Foreman and the broader production team, this role involves hands‑on work with power systems, smart technology, and specialty electronics across multiple voltages and disciplines. The ideal candidate brings technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong team‑oriented mindset to help deliver custom‑built transporters that meet the high standards of our elite clientele.

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation for new builds.
- Install electrical systems including 12V DC, 110V AC, and 480V AC power, lighting, and wiring harnesses.
- Assist with integration of specialty systems including audio/video, HVAC controls, automation, and IT cabling.
- Support the installation and troubleshooting of PLC‑based systems and relay logic where applicable.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure system functionality, safety, and client specification compliance.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with other departments (woodshop, fabrication, etc.) to ensure smooth coordination throughout the build phases.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures.
- Document job activities, materials usage, and time tracking with accuracy.
- Take initiative to assist teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and understanding complex schematics.
- Hands‑on experience installing and troubleshooting 12V, 110V, and 480V electrical systems.
- Familiarity with smart automation systems, PLCs, and integrated technologies.
- Skilled in harness fabrication and custom electrical assembly.
- Solid grasp of relay logic, motor controls, HVAC, and AV system wiring.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop in a production environment.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, off ladders, and at moderate heights.
- Technical training or certifications in electrical systems, automation, or related fields.
- Experience working on vehicle‑based electrical systems or in custom fabrication environments.
- Background in factory automation or machine design is a strong plus.
