The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Accounts Senior to join a leading and highly regarded SME-focused accountancy practice in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic role for an ambitious ACA / ACCA / CA qualified professional looking to continue developing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working closely with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

You will begin taking ownership of your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners in delivering a high-quality client service. The successful candidate will enjoy building strong client relationships and supporting businesses with accounting and advisory needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparation of statutory accounts for a broad client base

* Supporting clients from an accounting and advisory perspective

* Developing strong and lasting client relationships

* Working closely with managers and partners across the wider team

* Supporting and mentoring junior team members

* Managing chargeable time and working towards utilisation targets

* Ensuring accurate timesheet and work recording

* Assisting with the fee preparation process

* Working both independently and collaboratively within the team

About You

* ACA / ACCA / CA newly qualified (or equivalent)

* Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* A proactive and client-focused approach

* Motivated to continue developing technically and professionally
