The position

Are you an experienced professional with a strong track record in board-level leadership? Do you want to use your expertise to shape the strategic direction of an organisation committed to providing affordable housing and developing vibrant communities in Fife? As one of the largest independent housing associations in the region, Fife Housing Group provides quality homes and services to over 2,500 households.

We are dedicated to improving lives by delivering high-quality homes and supporting local communities and strengthening our Board by recruiting dynamic individuals with significant expertise in HR or finance and prior board-level or comparable executive experience. As a Board Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our sustainability whilst helping us to provide excellent housing and services to our tenants.

Key

responsibilities
  • Providing strategic leadership and governance.
  • Contributing to the effective management of risk, audit processes, and long‑term business planning.
  • Using your board experience to offer insights into best governance practices.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Fife Housing Group, championing our commitment to quality housing and community support.
What we're looking for
  • Proven expertise in HR or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of strategic leadership and executive business management.
  • Prior experience serving on boards, particularly in the housing, public or charity sectors.

This is a voluntary position with no remuneration.
