Job Title: Sports Coach / P.E. Cover Supervisor
Location: Castle Cary & Surrounding Areas
Start Date: February 2026
Salary: £110 – £130 per day (depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Full-time (flexible role types available)

Teacher Active is currently welcoming expressions of interest from enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coaches / P.E. Cover Supervisors for roles starting in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for sports coaches, graduates, teaching assistants, or individuals with experience working with young people who are keen to step into a classroom-based role — with full training and ongoing support provided.

• Have experience as a Sports Coach, P.E. instructor, Teaching Assistant, or working with young people
• Are confident leading groups and managing behaviour positively
• Are interested in delivering or supervising P.E. lessons and sports activities
• Can follow pre-planned lessons and maintain an engaging learning environment
• Are adaptable and happy to support a range of activities across KS3–KS4

• Access to a wide range of Sports Coach / P.E. Cover Supervisor roles in Castle Cary and surrounding areas
• Full training and guidance to prepare you for cover supervision
• Ongoing support from an experienced, dedicated consultant
